Why the desktop agent window opens after installation
This article explains the after-authentication process of the Zluri desktop agent.
Zluri desktop agents get deployed and authenticated without any user intervention. After that, it opens the window and the user has to minimize it manually. The post-authentication window opens due to the following reasons.
If the window is not visible at all, no components or code will be loaded that are needed to perform authentication.
For authentication, we use Auth0, which is strict in terms of how we handle our authentication and Auth0 has to take care of user transparency and security both at the same time, so it can’t allow authentication that runs outside the application.
Zluri's auto authentication means users don’t have to enter their email/password or anything.
In Mac agent, the user has to grant screen recording permission to the Mac agent. Please find the article here to understand why the Zluri Mac agent requires screen recording permission.
