JAMF Pro Data Documentation
Zluri's integration with JAMF Pro, an MDM (Mobile Device Management) solution, enhances visibility and control over Apple devices in an organization. The integration allows Zluri to fetch valuable data related to user information, computer usage, user groups, and activity details from JAMF Pro to provide insights into the Apple devices used within the organization for effective management and optimization.
Data Fetching from JAMF Pro
1. User Data
Zluri fetches user data from JAMF Pro, including:
Name
Email
Phone number
Position (Job Title)
Apple ID (Laptop or Apple device ID)
Connected device information (Unique device serial number, Mac address, etc.)
User photo (Optional)
2. Computer Usage Data
Zluri collects computer usage data to understand application usage patterns. This includes:
Application name
Application version
Foreground and open times (in minutes)
Daily application usage details for each user
3. User Group Data
Zluri fetches user group information based on criteria such as managed Apple IDs. This provides insights into how users are organized within the organization.

4. Activity Data
Activity data fetched from JAMF Pro provides details on user interactions with applications. The activity data includes:
Application names
Number of times each application is used
User details associated with each application usage

If an email address is present in the raw data, Zluri processes the following information:
Email
Name
Status
User photo name
User creation time
User Metadata
If there is no email for a user, Zluri processes the following information:
ID
Name
User photo URL
Status
User creation time
User Metadata
Activities Data Processing
If a user is present in both the previous and current sync, indicating activity on consecutive days, the user is identified as active. If a user was listed in the last sync but is absent in the subsequent sync, signifying no recent activity, the user is identified as inactive.

JAMF Pro Data Utilization
1. User Management
Zluri categorizes users as active or inactive based on their presence in consecutive syncs.
User profiles, including contact details and device information, are maintained and updated.
2. Application Usage Analysis
Detailed insights into application usage patterns, including the number of times an application is used and the duration it remains in the foreground.
Discovery and tracking of applications used by individual users.
3. User Groups Organization
User groups are organized based on criteria such as managed Apple IDs, providing a structured view of users within the organization.
4. Activity Tracking
The integration allows tracking user activities, providing a rich data set on application usage.
Visibility to insights into how users interact with different applications on Apple devices.
